MEV MegaCharge™ School Bus Depot
A Smart, Sustainable, Fully Integrated Electric Fleet Hub
Overview
The MEV MegaCharge™ School Bus Depot is a fully integrated electric transportation facility designed to support safe, smart, and sustainable school fleet operations. This concept brings together high‑capacity charging, dedicated maintenance infrastructure, on‑site energy storage, and intelligent fleet monitoring through MEV OS™—all within one cohesive, future‑ready depot.

Purpose & Vision
As school districts transition from diesel fleets to clean electric mobility, the depot provides the infrastructure needed to keep buses charged, maintained, and ready for daily routes. Covered charging bays support overnight or between‑route charging, while the MEV Maintenance Center offers space for inspections, diagnostics, tire service, battery checks, and preventive maintenance.

A central feature of the facility is the MEV PowerVault™ energy storage system, which reduces grid strain, stores excess energy, and provides backup power for uninterrupted operations. The depot layout includes clear routing paths, marked service bays, driver‑friendly signage, and a command‑style MEV OS™ panel for real‑time monitoring of charge levels, battery health, maintenance status, and fleet readiness.

Design Language
The visual identity uses MEV’s signature black, purple, and electric‑green lighting to create a futuristic yet highly functional transportation hub. The concept demonstrates how electric school transportation becomes more than a vehicle upgrade—it becomes a complete smart‑infrastructure ecosystem built around student safety, operational efficiency, and long‑term sustainability.
