MEV CareSeat Concept
Adaptive Safety and Embedded Audio for Growing Families
The MEV CareSeat is a fully integrated child safety module designed to evolve with the needs of growing passengers. Engineered to fold seamlessly into the second-row passenger seat, it transitions from a flush adult-ready cushion into a secure, ergonomic child seat in seconds—without compromising cabin aesthetics or usability.
Built to support a wide age and weight range, the CareSeat features a sliding headrest, adjustable harness heights, and a convertible shell that adapts from toddler to booster mode. Embedded bone-conducting audio pads in the headrest wings deliver calm, directed sound without disturbing others, with content and volume controlled remotely by caregivers.
Ambient MEV-blue lighting outlines the seat perimeter and headrest, reinforcing visual clarity and brand identity. The system activates only when the harness is latched and a child is detected, ensuring safety and intentional use.
This concept reflects MEV’s commitment to human-centered engineering—combining safety, comfort, and quiet technology in a single deployable module that grows with the child. It supports MEV’s broader mission: building vehicles that adapt to real lives, not the other way around.
