The MEV CommandPod™ Marine RX is a fully integrated, mission-critical infotainment and control interface engineered specifically for rescue-configured electric personal watercraft platforms, including the MEV WaveRipper™ RX. Designed to operate reliably in extreme marine environments, the CommandPod™ Marine RX provides operators with real-time system monitoring, navigation intelligence, and rescue-optimized control functionality within a fully sealed, waterproof architecture.
At the center of the system is a ruggedized, high-visibility display module housed within a reinforced, impact-resistant enclosure. The display is designed for clear readability in direct sunlight, storm conditions, and low-visibility environments, ensuring continuous operator awareness during high-stress emergency operations. The enclosure incorporates marine-grade sealing and vibration-resistant mounting to maintain operational reliability under repeated wave impacts and prolonged exposure to saltwater conditions.
The CommandPod™ Marine RX provides comprehensive system diagnostics and operational awareness through its integrated monitoring architecture. Real-time telemetry includes battery state of charge, projected operational range, motor output power, thermal system status, and propulsion system efficiency. These systems work together to provide accurate endurance prediction and ensure that sufficient power reserves are maintained for rescue completion and safe return to base.
The system includes an integrated GPS navigation module with mission-specific rescue functionality. Operators are provided with real-time positioning, return-to-base routing, and mission waypoint tracking, allowing for rapid response and precise navigation even in low-visibility or offshore conditions. Emergency beacon activation and fleet coordination capabilities enable the watercraft to function as part of a larger coordinated rescue network.
A dedicated Rescue Mode control architecture optimizes propulsion behavior for victim recovery and transport. In this mode, throttle mapping, acceleration profiles, and power delivery are automatically adjusted to ensure smooth, controlled operation while transporting injured or unconscious individuals on the rear rescue sled. This reduces the risk of secondary injury and improves stability during patient transport.
The CommandPod™ Marine RX also serves as the central control interface for emergency lighting, signaling systems, and safety features. Operators can activate emergency strobes, visibility lighting, and signaling systems directly through the interface, ensuring rapid deployment of critical safety equipment during emergency response.
The system is designed for intuitive operation with gloved hands and minimal operator distraction. Physical controls integrated into the handlebar assembly allow for rapid mode selection, emergency activation, and system adjustment without requiring complex interaction with the display interface.
As part of the broader MEV vehicle architecture, the CommandPod™ Marine RX functions as the central intelligence hub for the WaveRipper™ RX rescue platform. It integrates propulsion control, energy management, navigation, and safety systems into a unified interface that enhances operational efficiency, reliability, and rescue effectiveness.
