MEV TimberHaul™ Electric Forwarder
The MEV TimberHaul™ Electric Forwarder is a next-generation forestry machine engineered to move heavy timber loads with maximum control, minimal environmental impact, and uncompromising durability. Designed around a quiet, high-torque electric drivetrain, TimberHaul delivers exceptional tractive force at low speeds—ideal for navigating dense forests, steep grades, and uneven terrain without the noise, heat, and emissions of traditional diesel equipment.
Built on a rugged 8×8 articulated chassis, TimberHaul features independent electric drive at each axle for precise torque distribution and superior traction. Wide forestry tires and reinforced underbody protection minimize ground disturbance while shielding critical components from stumps, rocks, and debris. The machine’s balanced weight distribution and low center of gravity enhance stability when hauling fully loaded log bunks through challenging conditions.
At the rear, a reinforced high-capacity log bunk with adjustable stakes securely carries timber of varying lengths and diameters. An integrated knuckle-boom crane with a rotating log grapple enables efficient loading and unloading, supported by electric-over-hydraulic controls that deliver smooth, responsive movement and reduced energy consumption. Intelligent load-holding and damping systems improve precision while protecting both the operator and the payload.
The operator cab is enclosed in a ROPS/FOPS-certified forestry cage and designed for all-day productivity. Panoramic visibility, integrated camera views, and a detachable rugged control tablet provide real-time system data, crane control presets, and machine diagnostics. Low vibration and reduced noise levels—made possible by the electric powertrain—create a calmer, safer working environment during extended shifts.
