MEV WaveRipper™
High-Performance Electric Personal Watercraft Platform
The MEV WaveRipper™ is a next-generation electric personal watercraft engineered to deliver extreme acceleration, intelligent system control, and long-term durability in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Designed around MEV’s modular electric propulsion architecture, the WaveRipper™ integrates high-output electric drive technology with advanced waterproofing, thermal management, and structural optimization to create a reliable and high-performance marine mobility platform.
At the core of the WaveRipper™ is the MEV AquaVault™ sealed battery system, a structurally integrated energy module designed to maintain full operational integrity in harsh marine conditions. The battery enclosure utilizes a reinforced, fully sealed housing with pressure-balanced ventilation and integrated thermal management. This system allows the battery to maintain optimal performance and longevity while preventing moisture intrusion, corrosion, and thermal degradation. The battery mass is centrally positioned within the hull, lowering the center of gravity and improving handling stability, especially at high speeds and during aggressive maneuvers.
The propulsion system consists of a high-efficiency electric motor coupled to a precision jet pump drive assembly. This configuration delivers instantaneous torque, enabling rapid acceleration, responsive throttle control, and smooth power delivery across all speed ranges. The motor and inverter assemblies are fully sealed and liquid-cooled, utilizing a closed-loop thermal system with a marine heat exchanger to maintain safe operating temperatures during continuous operation.
The WaveRipper™ hull structure is engineered using reinforced composite construction combined with corrosion-resistant fasteners and protective structural coatings. The deep-V hull geometry enhances stability, reduces impact stress in rough water conditions, and improves directional control at both low and high speeds. The reinforced keel and structural mounting zones provide durability for repeated high-load conditions, including wave impacts and aggressive riding.
The operator interface is managed through the MEV CommandPod™ Marine control system, a fully sealed infotainment and vehicle management platform designed specifically for marine environments. The CommandPod™ provides real-time monitoring of battery status, power output, motor temperature, range estimation, and navigation data. Multiple selectable performance modes—including Attack, Touring, Tow, and Stealth—allow the operator to optimize vehicle behavior based on performance demands, endurance requirements, or operational safety.
Distinctive MEV design elements, including integrated energy-trace lighting, illuminated MEV branding, and aerodynamic exterior surfaces, reinforce the vehicle’s advanced technological identity while also improving visibility and safety. Every aspect of the WaveRipper™ reflects MEV’s commitment to durable, intelligent, and high-performance electric vehicle design.
The MEV WaveRipper™ establishes a scalable marine electric propulsion platform capable of supporting recreational, rescue, patrol, and commercial applications. It demonstrates the viability of high-power electric propulsion in marine environments while providing a foundation for future MEV electric marine vehicle systems.
