Michigan Electric Vehicle Interior design concept
Project type

Location

This concept represents more than an interior design study — it reflects the kind of company I believe Michigan Electric Vehicles should become. Every sketch, material choice, and layout idea is part of a larger vision: a future where people aren’t forced into preset options, but invited into the design process as true collaborators.
I want customers to feel seen. Not as buyers choosing from a limited menu, but as individuals with their own tastes, stories, and identities. That’s why this project explores a deeper level of customization, where customers can shape both the interior and exterior of their vehicle with meaningful detail. Not just colors and trims, but textures, lighting, materials, and design themes that resonate with who they are.
To support that vision, I imagine MEV developing a design platform that lets customers create their own styles — a tool that feels empowering, intuitive, and personal. Behind it, the company would use adaptive manufacturing systems capable of building vehicles around those choices, rather than forcing customers to fit into what the company wants to produce.
This project is a small step toward that idea. It’s a rough concept, but it carries the heart of what I want MEV to stand for: a relationship built on trust, creativity, and respect. A company that listens. A company that adapts. A company that builds vehicles with people, not just for them.
