LiftCore™ Smart Elevator System
Predictive, Fault-Tolerant, and Energy-Resilient Vertical Mobility
The MEV LiftCore™ Smart Elevator System is a next-generation vertical transportation platform engineered for maximum safety, reliability, and resilience in residential and multi-family buildings. Designed to operate intelligently under both normal and extreme conditions, LiftCore™ integrates advanced fault-prediction algorithms, real-time water and corrosion detection, and a dedicated solid-state energy storage backup to ensure continuous and safe operation.
At the core of the system is a dual-channel safety PLC architecture, providing redundant, independently validated control paths for motion, braking, and door operation. Continuous sensor feedback from motors, guide rails, ropes, and door mechanisms enables predictive maintenance, identifying abnormal vibration, wear, or electrical imbalance long before a fault can occur. When degradation is detected, the system automatically derates operation or transitions to a safe mode while alerting maintenance personnel.
LiftCore™ is specifically designed to address one of the most common elevator failure risks: water intrusion and corrosion. Dedicated water presence sensors, humidity monitors, and corrosion probes are installed in the pit, shaft, and critical mechanical zones. These sensors detect standing water, condensation, and early-stage corrosion, triggering automatic responses such as controlled shutdown, car repositioning, drainage alerts, and electrical isolation to prevent damage or unsafe operation.
To ensure elevator availability during power outages, LiftCore™ integrates a dedicated MEV PowerVault™ Solid-State ESS. This non-flammable, long-life battery system provides backup power for controlled car movement, emergency lighting, ventilation, communication systems, and safe floor landing during grid failure. Solid-state chemistry delivers superior thermal stability and safety compared to conventional battery systems, making it suitable for enclosed mechanical spaces.
Cybersecurity and operational integrity are built in from the start. LiftCore™ uses encrypted communications, secure firmware, and role-based access control while maintaining offline fail-safe operation—ensuring the elevator remains safe even if network connectivity is lost.
The MEV LiftCore™ Smart Elevator System represents a new standard in vertical mobility:
predictive rather than reactive, resilient rather than fragile, and designed to remain safe, functional, and intelligent under real-world conditions.
